Nature Matters Summerfest

Photos of learning games under the Solar Power Roadshow tent at the City of Surrey's "Nature Matters" Summerfest, which was themed as, "measure your ecological footprint". Surrey's mayor and city council kicked off this festival with inspiring speeches to environmental youth volunteers (such as the Surrey Eco Rangers) who are future stewards of this planet, which is threatened by global climate change from fossil fuels.

Solar powered bug races provided edu-fun for "kids" from ages 4 to 84 years.

Greater Vancouver experienced six historic, record-breaking heat days recently. Solar Power Roadshow provided a Global Warming Cooling & Info Station for this festival. The Roadshow's "no electricity air-conditioning station" cooled off attendees using devices that can be used for outdoor events, or even for home and cars.
